Journal Description

Amkop Management Accounting Review (AMAR) (Online ISSN: 2828-2248 ) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Yayasan Vifada Cendikia Indonesia in collaboration with Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) AMKOP Makassar.

AMAR provides a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish high-quality research in management accounting, accounting, management, finance, taxation, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal encourages studies that advance theory, methodology, and professional practice in organizational decision-making and performance.

The journal publishes original conceptual, empirical, and methodological research using quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, and innovative analytical approaches. Particular attention is given to studies that provide meaningful theoretical contributions, practical implications, and broader insights relevant to organizations in both the private and public sectors.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process to ensure originality, academic quality, methodological rigor, and relevance. AMAR aims to contribute to the development of management accounting knowledge and sustainable organizational performance.

Accreditation Announcement

AMAR Accreditation Status

We are pleased to announce that Amkop Management Accounting Review (AMAR) has been awarded SINTA 3 accreditation, valid from Volume 2, Number 2 (2022) through Volume 7, Number 1 (2027). This accreditation is based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals, Period I of 2025.

Manuscript Submission and Editorial Process

The complete workflow from manuscript submission to final publication is illustrated in the following figure.

Editorial Process at a Glance

The main stages of manuscript processing are summarized below.

Manuscript Submission by the author. Route 1

Initial Screening and Selection by the journal manager and editors. Editors may proceed with review, request revision, reject unsuitable manuscripts, or make an editorial decision where appropriate. Each manuscript is also subject to a plagiarism-similarity check using Turnitin before further processing. Route 2

Peer Review Process by appointed reviewers. Routes 3–4

Editorial Decision Notification is sent to the author based on reviewer comments and editorial assessment. The decision may be acceptance, revision, or rejection. Route 5

Manuscript Revision is completed by the author in accordance with reviewer and editor comments.

Revision Resubmission is made by the author. The revised manuscript may follow the same editorial-review cycle where further evaluation is required. Route 1

Final Acceptance is issued when the revised manuscript satisfies the reviewers' and editors' requirements. Route 6

Galley Proof and Publication include copyediting, layout preparation, proof checking, final production, and publication. Routes 7–8

The editorial workflow is designed to ensure that every manuscript is evaluated carefully, ethically, and transparently before publication.

Amkop Management Accounting Review (AMAR) diterbitkan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Amkop Makassar. Jurnal ini dimaksudkan sebagai media berbagi ilmu pengetahuan dan karya ilmiah di kalangan akademisi yang menggeluti bidang akuntansi dan manajemen. Jurnal Volume 7 Issue 1 akan diterbitkan pada Januari sampai Juni pada Tahun 2027.
Tim redaksi Amkop Management Accounting Review (AMAR) menerima naskah yang belum dipublikasi oleh media lain. Pedoman penulisan naskah tercantum pada bagian Menu. Surat menyurat naskah yang akan diterbitkan, langganan dan lainnya dialamatkan langsung ke alamat redaksi.
