Abstract
Purpose: This study examines how economic, social, and environmental sustainability influence tourists’ revisit intentions at destinations in Madura, focusing on the mediating roles of perceived value and destination image.
Research Method: A survey was conducted among tourists who had visited cultural, religious, marine, and natural attractions in Madura. The proposed relationships and mediation effects were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM).
Results and Discussion: Economic, social, and environmental sustainability positively influence perceived value and destination image. Both perceived value and destination image positively influence revisit intention and mediate the relationships between the sustainability dimensions and revisit intention.
Implications: Local governments and destination managers can strengthen tourists’ loyalty by integrating economic, social, and environmental considerations into destination planning and management. Further research could examine these relationships across other destinations and tourist groups.
Originality: This study applies the Stimulus–Organism–Response framework to explain how three dimensions of sustainability shape revisit intention through tourists’ perceived value and destination image in Madura.
