Economics and Digital Business Review (e-ISSN: 2774-2563) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Yayasan Vifada Cendikia Indonesia in collaboration with Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) AMKOP Makassar, Indonesia. Established in 2020, the journal provides an academic forum for research and scholarly discussion in economics, management, and digital business.
The journal publishes original theoretical, empirical, conceptual, and applied contributions that examine economic behavior, organizational practices, business performance, market dynamics, and technological change. It encourages scholarly inquiry that connects established economic and management theories with contemporary developments in digital platforms, financial technologies, artificial intelligence, business analytics, digital entrepreneurship, and innovation ecosystems.
Its editorial orientation combines economics, management and business studies, and digital transformation. Research may investigate conventional economic and business issues as well as their interaction with digital technologies, provided the manuscript offers a clear analytical contribution to the journal's core disciplines. The journal welcomes work from private enterprises, public institutions, financial organizations, industries, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), startups, and other relevant organizational settings.
Economics and Digital Business Review is issued twice a year and employs a double-blind peer-review process. It seeks to strengthen scholarly knowledge and evidence-based decision-making through research on competitiveness, financial and organizational resilience, inclusive economic development, responsible innovation, sustainable business practices, and the evolving digital economy.

Journal Focus
Economics and Digital Business Review focuses on disseminating high-quality scholarly research that explains, evaluates, and advances economic, managerial, and business phenomena in an increasingly interconnected and technology-driven environment. The journal addresses the theoretical foundations, empirical patterns, institutional conditions, and practical consequences of economic and organizational change across local, national, regional, and international contexts.
Particular emphasis is placed on the intersection of economic systems, business strategy, digital technologies, and human decision-making. The journal encourages studies on market development, economic policy, competitiveness, business models, entrepreneurship, organizational transformation, financial systems, accounting practices, human capital, supply chains, and consumer behavior. It also considers the effects of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, digital platforms, financial technology, information systems, and data analytics, on business processes, resource allocation, governance, and economic outcomes.
The journal seeks manuscripts that offer substantive theoretical, methodological, empirical, or policy-related contributions and demonstrate relevance to contemporary economic and business challenges. Contributions may examine established issues without a digital component when they make a clear contribution to economics or business scholarship, while technology-centered studies must explicitly address economic, managerial, organizational, or market implications.

Interdisciplinary Research

Relevant research may examine how technological innovation influences employment, financial behavior, market structures, organizational capabilities, supply chains, governance, and sustainability, as well as how institutional, social, and economic conditions shape the adoption and impacts of digital business. Submissions should explain their disciplinary relevance and make a substantive contribution to economic or business knowledge rather than addressing technology as an isolated technical subject.
Research Approaches
The journal considers original research articles, conceptual and theoretical studies, comparative investigations, case studies, and systematic evidence syntheses relevant to economics and digital business. Both conventional and emerging research approaches are welcome when supported by a well-defined research problem, sound theoretical reasoning, transparent data and procedures, appropriate analysis, and conclusions justified by the evidence. Review articles should employ an explicit and reproducible search, selection, and synthesis procedure, while conceptual manuscripts should develop a clear and original scholarly argument.
Advancing Economics and Digital Business Scholarship
Economics and Digital Business Review is committed to promoting originality, responsible research conduct, methodological rigor, transparency, and meaningful scholarly contributions. Manuscripts are assessed for relevance to the journal's aims and scope, the clarity of their research questions, theoretical grounding, analytical validity, and the significance of their findings for research, policy, or professional practice. A double-blind peer-review process supports independent evaluation and constructive scholarly feedback.
By connecting established economic and business scholarship with the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation, the journal seeks to support evidence-based decision-making, entrepreneurial innovation, inclusive economic growth, organizational competitiveness, sound financial management, responsible governance, and sustainable business development at national and international levels.
